This lamp features a copper, hot water tank, flex tube that has been hammered flat to form a sort of “spine” for the fixture. The light head is copper tubing with some light hammering (with customized hammers) to add a little texture to the surface. There is a piece of rolled copper screen inserted into the light head for diffusion. The light head pivots left and right. Small eyelets were soldered to the back of the “spine” to guide the wire to the base. The copper part of the base is lightly hammered like the head. All the copper and brass parts are oxidized to a medium copper patina. Everything has a wax topcoat. The block under the copper base is a beautiful, coffee colored, Paperstone. The lamp is 12" high by 10" front to back by 4" wide. The bulb is a bi-pin, 50w equivalent, LED bulb.
